Darren J Cranshaw

Darren Cranshaw was born and bred in Brindle, living firstly at Hough House Farm on Holt Lane and more recently at Batesons Farm on Sandy Lane in the village.

Darren has been a member of Brindle Parish Council since the year 2000 and follows in the footsteps of his grandfather, Jack Cranshaw, who was a parish councillor for over 30 years, 20 years as chairman.

Darren is also vice-chair of governors at Brindle St Joseph's Primary School and a governor at Brindle St James' Primary School.

In addition to the parish council and local schools, Darren is Archivist to Brindle Historical Society and a trustee of both the Brindle Community Hall and Shuttlingfields Charity.

Professionally, Darren works at South Ribble Borough Council as Community Engagement Manager.

In his spare time Darren enjoys walking, reading and farming.
